    Vocation Promotion

    The Vocations office promotes, nurtures and sustains vocations to the priesthood and religious life in the Catholic Diocese of Solwezi. The office is managed by a Diocesan Vocations Promoter, appointed by the local Ordinary, whose duty is to ensure that young men and women who show interest in the priesthood and religious life are encouraged to pursue their vocations.

    The Diocesan Vocations Promoter coordinates the office with the assistance of a Diocesan Vocation Team which is composed of diocesan and priests and religious.

    OBJECTIVES AND STRATEGIC

    Objective:
    To continue promoting and sustaining quality vocations through various structures in the Diocese by 2027.

    Strategic Activities:
    1. Organise promotional talks, seminars and retreats for youths in various learning institution.
    2. Find sustainable means of maintaining seminarians through the  parishes
